With over 10 years of experience as a software engineer across multiple industries—and a strong background in performance marketing, especially paid lead generation—I’ve seen both worlds.
While most of my career has been on the technical side, I’ve always kept marketing as a parallel passion.
Meetgen.com was born out of a real challenge I faced while running lead generation campaigns for Wattopjedak, a solar panels and home energy storage company in the Netherlands.
I noticed how much time and productivity was lost in sales teams trying to coordinate with leads to have a conversation. Even when the conversation happened, it was more often than not the best time for the lead to have it.
The campaigns were also optimising merely for form submissions, not a booked call, which is a lower funnel event.
That’s when the idea hit me: what if lead generation could go a step further—not just capturing leads, but turning them directly into qualified meetings on autopilot?
With Meetgen.com, that’s exactly what I set out to build:
